Boy’s baseball headed down to the Ozarks this past weekend for their last baseball tournament of the season. Before taking the trip down, the team played against Raytown and won 12-2. A big win for the boys. At the Ozarks, they went 0-2 for the weekend. They played Camdenton High school, and they said the time spent together is better than any dub they could get.
The boys are very close. After asking many of them, they stated their favorite thing about the baseball team is the special connections they all hold. From the teammates to the coaches, to the fans.
Sam Beuerlein, junior said, “Besides the bonds with the boys, I will miss the out of town trips, and just having a super tight knit team.”
As the season is coming to a close, South should come out and see the baseball boys play Platte County, at home this Saturday at 11am. If they can beat Platte County, they will face Staley on Monday at 2pm. The boys are hoping to make it farther than they ever have. If possible, one should make a trip out to see the boys play in their final games in Districts.
