NFL started off the season a little slow giving most fantasy owners a scare, but unless you have David Johnson on your team you should not be too worried. Look for these players to bounce back after a slow week one.
QB Russel Wilson – The Seahawks defense looked great as usual, but the offense just could not get it done on the other end. The offensive line seemed as a liability and if they don’t address it, it could show as a problem down the line. But don’t get it twisted, Seahawks are still an elite team and the 49’ers give them a great opportunity to bounce back. Look for Wilson to get around 300 yards and 3 TD passing along with some rushing yards.
WR Brandin Cooks – The defending champs were not ready for the Kansas City Chiefs on the Thursday night season opener. Cooks was pretty quiet but showed flashes of what is to come later on in the season with his ability to vertically stretch the field. The already fired up Patriots play the Saints this week and look for Cooks to get his revenge racking 100+ yards along with a TD.
RB Leveon Bell – The Steelers were surprisingly quiet against the Browns, containing Bell to just 47 yards and no TD. Don’t expect Bell to be that quiet again. They play a good defense in the Vikings but I still see Bell making his mark with around 15 points in all leagues.
TE Greg Olsen – The Panthers had a comfortable win over the 49’ers in Week 1 but one of their main guys was relatively quiet. He was held to two catches to 18 yards which was very uncharacteristic for the pro bowl tight end. I look for him to find the Endzone next week vs an iffy bills defense.
