Sunshine, the sweet sound of birds chirping, accompanied with the noise of the busy city. Kansas City is one of the most beautiful cities in America, and it is always filled with places to go and things to do. Whether you like relaxing in nature, or being submerged in culture, you will find something that appeals to you.
There are many places that are completely free to visit, and definitely worth the trip. One of my personal favorites is the rooftop park on top of Cosentino’s Market in the Power & Light District. Here you will find a beautiful view of the city in a park with lush grass and a mock train car you can climb or relax in.
Another great place to go is Loose Park. This is the third largest park in Kansas City, and whether you want to go hammocking, on a picnic, or even just on a walk, this is the perfect place to spend your day.
One of the more remote places to go is under the bridge in the west bottoms. This place is a great destination for senior photos, prom pics, or even just to visit.
There are plenty of hidden treasures around KC, and they’re just waiting for you to find them.
