Going through social media might be dreadful these next few days, seeing all these cute posters, and signs people make for others: Courtwarming proposals.
You might think Courtwarming is going to be just like Homecoming, but in reality it isn’t. For Courtwarming, the girls ask the guys, the girls pay for dinner, etc. The guys just have to put on something nice and show up at the dance.
“I asked him to come to the grand staircase so I could ask him,” said Julia Vap (sophomore). Julia’s sign said “I know this is late, so I’ll make this…. Freaky Fast. CW?” She got him Jimmy Johns.
“I sort of knew she was going to ask when she told me to go to the grand staircase because she had a surprise for me but I will still surprised and happy that she asked me,” said Benjamin Owere (sophomore).
Guys are always super excited to get asked by the girls, and they finally know how it feels to get asked. They still get to go out to dinner, and go take pictures, but guys are the ones that are asked, not the girls.
Courtwarming proposals are always fun to come up with, and it’s fun to ask the guys. The actual Courtwarming dance also seems fun, but the only bad thing about the dance, and the dinner, and the pictures, the girls feet hurt from having to walk around in heels all night.
