Want to go somewhere this summer? Go to San Diego, the land of beautiful beaches and gorgeous sunsets. This place is anyone’s dream vacation.
On my last visit I stayed in a rented house where I was only a block away from the calm waters of Mission Bay, and only two blocks away from the Pacific ocean.
I recommend to go paddle boarding while you’re in San Diego. For newbies, it’s better to go out on the bay, which has calmer waters.
Another thing that I enjoy doing is simply sitting next to the shore line reading a good book. The noise of the waves crashing against the shore is so relaxing you’ll be transported into a different world as you read.
Cycling along the boardwalk is also fun. But make sure to go when it’s not crowded, because it could get ugly. Otherwise watching the sunset while gliding beside the beach is a wonderful experience.
When you do go to San Diego go to Balboa Park, it has museums, flower gardens, delectable food to tickle the palate, and even a Shakespeare themed theater. If you catch a show at the Old Globe Theater, note how the spacing of the room is rounded to get the best audio effect.
When checking out “America’s Finest City,” make sure to go and explore. Sure it’s fine to have a guide, but experiencing this city and its’ beautiful culture really is a reward all of its own. So go and enjoy!
