South Volleyball Cancer Game

  breast-cancer1

Park Hill South and Park Hill work together for once to race for the cure. As October is  breast cancer awareness month, the two rivals came together for their annual women’s volleyball games with the proceeds going to breast cancer awareness.

“The environment was 10 out of 10, very great support from the fans,” said sophomore, Andrew Troha.

The night started off with the JV game, racking up a win in just two sets against Park Hill’s JV. As the crowds rolled in and the ecstatic rage cage geared up for a great game against the rivals.

The varsity game seemed to be a domination by South’s powerhouse volleyball team. They went on to win 2-0 and a fun and exciting game to watch for all.

No matter the outcome everyone was glad to help those with breast cancer and help breast cancer awareness with this benefit match.

“I would like to see another game next year because we are supporting breast cancer and it’s a cool experience,” said sophomore Ryan Welty.

South looks to continue the great season as the regular season seems  to find its exciting end.
