Although the season has just started for the boys soccer team, there have been a couple of highlights to the season off of the field.
Last week, four year letterman Jordan Lindsey and Josh Hall committed to William Jewel College and Truman State University, respectively, to play soccer next year. Lindsey, who has been playing soccer all of his life finally gets to continue his love into the next stage.
“I’m excited to be a Cardinal and Division II soccer player”, said Lindsey.
Not only will Jordan be able to play soccer at a higher level, but also against his best friend Hall.
Hall, who played for the Sporting KC Junior team his Freshman year, has lettered the last three seasons at South.
Now that a college is under their belts, Lindsey and Hall can focus on taking the boys soccer team to another run at a state title. Last year they fell short, losing to Rockhurst, but this season features lots of talent and experience that will boost South farther than last year.
