Riverside was stunned this weekend by Park Hill South’s performance in the annual rocking on the river parade. Many spectators came to support the many sports, clubs and activities.
Park Hill South’s Panther Band made an impressive appearance at this year’s 2013 ‘Rocking on the River’ Parade. The panther fight song could be heard from around riverside, inciting the panther spirit.
The parade began at 1.30, in E.H young park. Panther supporters were out in full force to cheer on South’s clubs and sports. “I was so proud of the school, it was great to see all the activities being recognized,” said Georgia-May, sophomore.
Others represented in the parade included Emary Langhorn, sophomore, as parade grand marshal, she explained “The parade was awesome, it was so amazing to be part of it for the first time, and to be recognized by my school in such a cool way.”
Also present was the Panther Football, Golf, Tennis, Anime, and cheer teams.
