Well folks, I’m back. This year you can expect to see more movie reviews, movie features and of course, plenty of my opinion. That’s the news you wanted to hear, right? Oh it’s not? Too bad. Here’s 3 movies I’m stoked to see.
1) “The Wolf of Wall Street”, November 15. No movie has me more jacked up. Leonardo DiCaprio is probably my favorite actor in Hollywood. The guy just keeps producing hit after hit. Add in two fantastic actors in Jonah Hill and Matthew McConaughey and you have got my attention. Not to mention supporting work done by Jon Favreau, Kyle Chandler, and Jon Bernthal. It’s the true story of Jordan Belfort, a stockbroker who becomes rich quick, in ways not necessarily legal. We see the rise and fall, and I can’t wait to watch. Plus Scorsese is directing. Yessir.
2) “American Hustle”, December 25. Talk about a star studded cast. Christian Bale, Amy Adams, Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, and Jeremy Renner. Oh my. Again, this is another movie that follows corruption and con artists. Throw in superstar director David O. Russell, known for his fantastic scripts and hectic work environment, and we’re sure to have another Oscar frontrunner. This should be excellent.
3) “Don Jon”, September 27. Joseph Gordon Levitt might be the best young actor in film at the moment. We get to see him direct himself in this movie, about a man who cares about only a few thing; his body, his pad, his ride, his family, his church, his boys, his girls and his porn. Gordon Levitt gave himself a fine set of actors to work with. Scarlett Johansson, Julianne Moore, and Tony Danza. Could do worse. You have my attention JGL.
There you have it. If you’re not excited about those movie, check for a pulse. If you have one, don’t bother talking to me. Keep posted for more movie opinion, right here on PHSview.com.
