When Taco Bell came out with the first Doritios Locos Taco, the world was in awe. How could something so amazing and delicious come out of a fast food chain? But eventually, the enthusiasm died down, and Taco Bell needed something new. Bring on the Cool Ranch Doritos Locos Taco.
But which one was better? The original, or the renovation? I set out to solve the mystery.
When I went in to try the new creation, I was immediately impressed. The taco had its own shell, which looked like a bag of Cool Ranch Doritos. When I took the first bite, I was overcome with emotions. It was amazing, but there was one big problem: it tasted very similar to the original Taco. I took bites of both tacos, and I really couldn’t tell the difference.
There are only two noticeable differences: the taco shell and the cost. The original taco was ten cents extra, but it came with the trademark orange taco shell.
When it comes down to “crunch time”, I would go with the original. In more ways than one, tacos are just like movies: the original is always better than the sequel.
