What you’ll need:
- 16 ounce bag milk chocolate chips
- 1 pound fresh strawberries
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 1 cup white chocolate chips (optional)
Using a double boiler, melt the milk chocolate and shortening together. Stir occasionally. Insert toothpicks into the top of the strawberries and dip into melted milk chocolate. After dipping, place strawberries upside down, inserting toothpick into Styrofoam to dry. Optional: before chocolate has cooled, add 3-5 white chocolate chips to surface.
