YouTube has a new browsing tool, Moodwall, that sorts videos based on how they make viewers feel. The project is an attempt to improve how viewers discover videos.
Categories include brilliant, gross, adorable and even catchy. When you click on an emotion, you can click on a secondary emotion and then find a video. For example, a “sad” video can also be “powerful”.
Around 40,000 videos have been put into the 20 emotion categories. Try it yourself at this link: http://www.youtube.com/moodwall_testtube
